We've written a comprehensive guide about alignment. In it, we've outlined what alignment is and why it's important for your OKRs process.

In addition to this, in this article, you'll learn how to directly align objectives to a higher-level one.

In Gtmhub, setting OKRs alignment is easy as pie. Here's how to do that in 2 easy ways:

Approach #1: Drag and drop alignment:

  1. Go to the Alignment view
  2. Select Drag and drop alignment from the right menu
  3. Manually drag and drop the OKRs according to your new alignment needs

Approach #2: Mark this objective to move:

  1. Go to the Alignment view
  2. Choose an Objective you want to move > click the Ellipsis button on the right top corner
  3. Select Mark this objective to move
  4. Select an objective you want to align under > click the Ellipsis button on the right top corner
  5. Select Move the selected objective here

Pro-tips:

  • If you move a parent objective, all of its "child" OKRs will be moved as well.
  • In addition to aligning objectives under higher-level ones, you can mark an objective as a top-level one.
