Review this Alignment view introduction article for insight on the available features offered in the alignment view.

In our general overview of the Alignment View Navigation, under "Options" we introduce Approach #1: Drag and drop alignment. In this article we will review Approach #1 and introduce Approach #2: Mark this objective to move. Both great options to tangibly visualize your alignment.

Approach #1: Drag and drop alignment:

  1. Go to the Alignment view
  2. Select Drag and drop alignment from the right menu
  3. Manually drag and drop the OKRs according to your new alignment needs

Approach #2: Mark this objective to move:

  1. Go to the Alignment view
  2. Choose an Objective you want to move > click the Ellipsis on the right top corner
  3. Select Mark this objective to move
  4. Select an objective you want to align under > click the Ellipsis button on the right top corner
  5. Select Move the selected objective here

Pro-tips:

  • If you move a parent objective, all of its "child" OKRs will be moved as well.
  • In addition to aligning objectives under higher-level ones, you can mark an objective as a top-level one.
