Gtmhub enables quick and easy integration with MS Teams so that you can share, view, and update your OKRs without switching out of MS Teams. You can also navigate the Hub and the entire Gtmhub website by adding tabs. Here's how.

Installing the Gtmhub app

There are a couple ways to add the Gtmhub app in Microsoft Teams.

Installing Gtmhub for your organization

The first way is to add Gtmhub at the organization level. When you add Gtmhub this way, you can search, view, share, and update OKRs in MS Teams.

  • Click on the ellipsis (...) and search for Gtmhub
  • Click on Add

πŸŽ‰Once done you can start searching, viewing and sharing OKRs (see steps below).

Installing Gtmhub Hub in a specific channel

The second way is to add a Gtmhub tab. Tabs are added to specific channels. You can add the Hub and the whole Gtmhub website as tabs.

To add a Gtmhub tab for the Hub:

  • Choose a channel where you wish the Gtmhub tab to appear. In this example, it's the General channel under the Design team.
  • Click on the + button in the top navigation to Add a tab
  • Search for Gtmhub in the search bar
  • Click on the Gtmhub icon
  • Click Add
  • Click on the radio button Add Gtmhub tab to your team? (πŸ“ Note: You can choose to "Post to the channel about this tab" in the bottom left box. The box is checked by default.)
  • Enter your Gtmhub email
  • Click on the URL to confirm the Gtmhub account you wish to link
  • Click Save
  • Enter your email and password
  • Click on Log In

πŸŽ‰ Once done, you'll see your Hub as a tab in the channel. From here you can do all the things you normally could with the Hub such as update Key Results, manage tasks, and add filters.

Installing Gtmhub website in a specific channel

You can add the whole Gtmhub website in MS Teams.Β 

To add the the Gtmhub website as a tab:

  • Choose a channel where you with the Gtmhub website tab to appear. In this example, it's the General channel under the Design team.
  • Click on the + button in the top navigation to Add a tab
  • Search for website in the search bar
  • Click on the website icon

Searching, Viewing and Sharing OKRs

πŸ“ Note: The prerequisite is Installing Gtmhub for your organization (see steps above)

Once you've added Gtmhub this way, you can search for an OKR and paste it in a channel to share it with others.

To share your OKR or Key Result in a channel:

  1. Type @gtmhub in the top bar
  2. Hit enter/return key
  3. Type the name of the Objective or Key Result you wish to see or scroll through the list of Objectives and Key Results
  4. Click on the name of the Objective or Key Result
  5. Click on the copy to clipboard icon or ellipsis (...) to copy the Objective or Key Result to your clipboard
  6. Paste the Objective or Key Result in the message bar at the bottom of the window in the channel where you'd like to share
  7. Hit enter/return key or click on send

Updating Key Results

  1. Click on the Gtmhub logo under the message bar at the bottom of the window
  2. Type the name of your Key Result in the search bar or scroll through the list of OKRs and Key Results
  3. Click on the name of the Key Result you wish to update
  4. Hit enter/return or click on send (πŸ“ Note: you cannot update a Key Result without having shared it in a channel first)
  5. Click Update

From the Hub tab

  1. Navigate to the Gtmhub Hub tab
  2. Update your Key Results from the Hub as you would in the web app

From the Gtmhub website tab

  1. Navigate to the Gtmhub website tab
  2. Update your Key Results as you would in the web app
