Overview

Successful OKRs deployment is positively correlated with incorporating OKRs methodology best practices. Gtmhub enables teams and individuals to adopt OKRs and follow best practices when they create them.

The OKR-design score provides a score for every objective and instructs you how to improve it. When you create an OKR, you are guided by tooltips, so that you know you are on the right track.

OKR-design score criteria

In Gtmhub, you can configure objective progress calculation in two ways:

  • As an average of the key results
  • As an average of the subobjectives

The OKR-design score adjusts based on your choice.

For more information, see Configure the progress calculation of objectives.

Objective progress based on key results

If your objective progress calculation is based on the average of the key results, you can obtain a perfect score by aiming for the following:

  • Create an objective title that is under 70 characters long.
  • Add between 2 and 5 key results.
  • Have 0 Yes/No key results
  • Create 4 tasks to help you achieve the objective.

NOTE: You can connect Jira and Gtmhub. You can do this either via Jira Cloud or via Jira Server. Afterwards, you can link Jira Issues to Gtmhub OKRs. These Issues will appear as tasks in Gtmhub and will count towards your score.
For more information, see Gtmhub for JIRA Cloud and Gtmhub for JIRA Server.

Objective progress based on subobjectives

If your objective progress calculation is based on the average of its subobjectives, you can obtain a perfect score by aiming for the following:

  • Create an objective title that is under 70 characters long.
  • Add between 2 and 5 subobjectives.
