MySQL is an open-source relational database management system.
You can connect to any table in any schema in MySQL and create a Gtmhub entity based on it.
How to connect
In Gtmhub, navigate to the Data Sources screen by clicking into it from the side menu under Insights tab
Click the Select data source button
From the Choose a connector dialog, select the Databases tab and then select MySQL
Click on the connection and then enter the necessary information to connect to your MySQL database.
Connection name: give the connection a name.
Host: domain name or IP address of your MySQL instance.
Schema: the name of the database to which you want to connect.
Username: the username of the user with which you wish to connect.
Password: the password of the user with which you wish to connect.
Port: the port where MySQL is listening. The default is 3306, which is a standard MySQL port.
When you click Connect data source, you will be directed to choose the entity you wish to sync.
Give your data source a name and then choose its sync schedule.
Now you are ready to create Insights based on the data fetched from MySQL.
