Overview

In Gtmhub, you use teams to setup your organizational chart. You can assign and remove team managers or team members. You can do this also in bulk, edition several teams at once.


Assign a manager to a team

Perform the following:

  1. In the navigation pane, expand People and click Teams.
  2. Click the team where you want to assign a team manager.
  3. Click the Members tab.
  4. Click + Select team manager.
  5. In the list, click the Set as manager button of the user that you want to assign as manager.
  6. Click Go back.
  7. To change the manager, click the Members tab again.
  8. Under Team manager, click the Change manager link.
  9. Remove the current manager and set a new one.
  10. Click Go back.

Assign members to a team

Perform the following:

  1. In the navigation pane, expand People and click Teams.
  2. Click the team where you want to add members.
  3. Click the Members tab.
  4. Click + Select members.
  5. Click the Add to team button of each user that you want to add to the team.
  6. Click Go back.
  7. To edit the list of members, click the Members tab.
  8. Under Team members, click Edit members link.
  9. Remove existing or set new members.
  10. Click Go back.

Manage teams in bulk

Use the bulk edit team members functionality to manage multiple teams at once.

To edit multiple teams in bulk, perform the following:

  1. In the navigation pane, expand People and click Teams.
  2. In the toolbar, click Bulk edit team members.
    In the left pane, there is a list of all teams and their team members. In the right pane, there is a list of all employees.
  3. Perform the required modifications to the team.
    The changes are applied instantly.
  4. When finished, navigate back.

You can perform the following team modifications.

  • Exclude teams from the bulk edit operation, by hovering over their team avatar and clicking it.
  • Remove a team manager, by hovering over the user avatar and clicking it.
  • Exclude members from teams, by hovering over their user avatars and clicking them.
  • Drag an employee from the right pane and drop it as manager of the desired team.
  • Drag employees from the right pane and drop them as team members in the desired team.
  • Filter employees that are not part of any team, by clicking Employees not in a team tab.

Find employees not belonging to any team

Perform the following:

  1. In the navigation pane, expand People and click Teams.
  2. In the toolbar, click Bulk edit team members.
  3. Click Employees not in a team tab.
    A list of all employees not part of any tam appears.
