Overview

Setting up а proper team structure allows Gtmhub to automatically create reports and assign permissions according to team members' roles and responsibilities in their organization.


Procedure

To create a team, perform the following:

  1. In the navigation pane, expand People and click Teams.

  2. In the toolbar, click Create new team.

  3. Enter a Name for the team.

  4. If this team is under another team, under Parent team, click Search for a team.

  5. In the list of existing teams, click the parent team.

  6. If this team has a manager, under Manager, click Search for a manager.

  7. In the list of existing employees, click the manager.

  8. If this team has members, under Members, click Search for members.

  9. In the list of existing employees, click one or more team members.

  10. Enter a Description for the team.

  11. The team is assigned a default avatar, if you want to change it, under Team avatar, click + Add team avatar.

  12. Customize the team's avatar by selecting an icon and color or upload an image.

  13. When finished, click Create team.


Result

The new team appears in the list of teams.
